Wireless sensors communicate information directly to a Gateway, and this Gateway is able to communicate with up to 100 sensors.
There are 3 types of Gateway and these differ in their suitability to local Internet access conditions:
> Cellular: whenever there is no data network at the installation site.
> Ethernet: whenever there is an Internet connection.
> USB: connection made via a USB port that requires driver installation on a computer with Internet connection. The sensor network is turn off whenever the computer is turned off.
